METAFOLIN®
L-methylfolate is a biologically-active form of folic acid that is not commonly found in OTC prenatal vitamins. Metafolin® allows for easy absorption of folic acid and may help prevent possible birth defects in the brain and spinal cord.
DHA
The DHA in Vitafol® Ultra is derived from natural algal oil, which may decrease mercury exposure compared to DHA derived from fish oil commonly found in OTC prenatal vitamins. DHA may help support the cognitive and visual development of your baby and contribute to optimal birth weight.
IRON
